How to prepare this tasteful cake using Belgian chocolate


This luscious chocolate pie is quite quick and easy to prepare. Indeed, this pie recipe requires only 10 minutes preparation and 25 minutes baking in the oven.

Ingredients

  •     1 cup (150 g) dark chocolate
  •     1 cup (150 g) sugar
  •     1/3 lb (150 g) butter
  •     2 tbsps (60 g) all-purpose flour
  •     3 eggs

Instructions

Here are the directions for you to prepare my favorite luscious chocolate pie:
  1.     Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
  2.     Cut chocolate and butter and melt slowly over a pan of simmering water
  3.     In the meantime, in a large bowl, beat the three eggs
  4.     Add sugar and mix together with beaten eggs
  5.     Gradually add flour and whisk until smooth
  6.     Once butter and chocolate melted, add it to egg, sugar and flour mixture
  7.     Pour the mixture into a pie pan and place in the oven for 20-25 minutes
  8.     Pick the center of the chocolate pie with a fork to make sure the pie is baked before removing from the oven

I recommend using dark Belgian chocolate as well as butter to prepare this recipe. In addition, make sure that the type of Belgian chocolate you're using is made out of cocoa butter and not margarine. Another reason for choosing a Belgian chocolate as dark as possible is that milk chocolate doesn't provide the pie with a great taste. On the other hand, margarine definitely doesn't work with the recipe.

Use a non stick pie pan if you don't want the pie to stick to the mold


Make sure to have a non stick tart pan on hand when you prepare this mouthwatering chocolate pie recipe; a pie that is easily removable from the mold enables you to present a perfect dessert to your guests or to the kids who attend your child's birthday party.

Although a non stick pan isn't supposed to stick to foods, this chocolate pie includes a great amount of sugar, therefore, I recommend to add a tiny coat of butter and flour before pouring the mixture into the mold; this will make sure the chocolate pie doesn't stick to the mold.

If you choose to use a pie pan which bottom is removable, then, I recommend using wax or parchment paper before pouring the batter into the mold.
